Meet the Doctors at Smiles Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Natesha Kumar

Dr. Natesha Kumar was born and raised in Sacramento, California. Influenced by her positive experience, her passion for pediatric dentistry started at a young age. Growing up, she volunteered as a child mentor and was a kid’s yoga instructor, where her devotion for children grew exponentially.

Dr. Kumar completed her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Nutrition at University of California, Davis. In addition, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at the University of Southern California, where she continued to pursue her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Kumar received her certificate in pediatric dentistry, at New York University. Dr. Kumar is passionate and commited to providing quality oral health care to children of all ages and individuals with special needs and strives to create a positive
experience for all.

In her free time, Dr. Kumar enjoys hiking with her mini Australian Shepherd, skiing and snowboarding, traveling the world, and experiencing new cultures and cuisines. Dr. Kumar is new to Chicago and is extremely excited to serve the community.

Dr. Patricia Casey

Dr. Casey joined our practice as a board-certified pediatric dentist and comes with a strong background treating the comprehensive dental needs of children and adults. Dr. Casey received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and her certificate in pediatric dentistry from Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, FL.

She was awarded the Richard C. Pugh Achievement award for scoring in the top 3% in the nation on her written board examination. Dr. Casey is a Diplomate to the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is committed to providing quality dental care to members of her community.

In her free time, Dr. Casey enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog.
